 Education

"Successful Jewish education depends on parents and the school working as a team to imbue in our children a love of Torah and a love of God. At Beth Am, we endeavor to impart to our children a solid Judaic foundation as well as instill within them a deep sense of pride in their Judaism. Our school offers a variety of experiential and family programming in order to bring learning to life”

At Congregation Beth Am we seek to provide our students with a positive Jewish identity by exposure to our heritage, community life, holidays and life cycle events.  Through the study of Torah, Hebrew, and Jewish writings our students will embrace a life long commitment to God, Israel and the Jewish people.  We hope to nurture Jews who will bear witness to the Brit, Covenant between God and the Jewish people through their observance of Mitzvot, the Commandments, and Tikkun Olam, repair of the world.

Our school is one of the largest in the area with over 500 children enrolled in grades K-12. We are committed to lifelong learning and offer not only a comprehensive educational program for children but also continuing education for the adult learner. Our school includes a  B'nei Mitzvah program for children and adults, a Kabbalat Torah program (for 9th graders) and a high school program( Midrasha), and a Gan program for 2-4 year olds. In addition to educational programming we offer a wide range of family programming throughout the year including concerts, and special activity days for families.
