Torah Study led by Rabbi Bellows

Saturdays from 9:00-9:45am

One of the best ways to be awake to our lives is by engaging in the study of Torah. Each week we study our ancient and sacred texts which always has something of relevance to our lives, and more than not, we are left with a profound teaching that we take with us into our week and allow it to settle in our souls, helping us to find more meaning, direction and purpose in our lives. We study the English translation of the Hebrew. No experience necessary.

The God Connection-Jewish Spiritual Practices for Mind, Body and Soul

One Sunday a month from 9:30-11:30am

This 2-hour monthly class is an adult learning opportunity for those seeking to deepen their connection to God, Torah, community and self. Using Vetaher Libeynu (Purify our Hearts), a curriculum for adult Jewish spiritual growth written by the Jewish Institute of Spirituality, our sessions will include group discussion and text study, mindfulness meditation and prayer. The God Connection class is now in its second year and will complete our studies in 2011. This class is open to returning students for $45. Those interested in attending the class for the first time, please contact Rabbi Bellows.
